Additional work requested by the customer or conditions discovered after work begins may result in additional charges. Material changes to the agreed scope of work will be documented and approved when required.
Payment terms, deposits, progress payments, and final payment requirements will be stated in the applicable estimate, proposal, invoice, or service agreement.
Past-due amounts may be subject to lawful collection costs or other charges when disclosed in the applicable agreement and permitted by law.
Scheduled dates and arrival times are estimates unless specifically stated otherwise.
Weather, material availability, subcontractor availability, emergencies, concealed conditions, customer-requested changes, permitting issues, and other circumstances beyond our reasonable control may affect scheduling.
Customers should provide reasonable notice when cancelling or rescheduling an appointment. Any cancellation or service-call fee will be disclosed before it is charged.
Nothing in these Terms limits any cancellation rights provided to a customer under Virginia or federal law.
Work requested outside the original scope is considered additional work and may result in additional charges and additional completion time.
Where required, changes affecting price, materials, scope of work, or completion dates will be documented in writing and approved by the parties.
When permits, inspections, or other governmental approvals are legally required for work being performed by TheHoneyDoMan, responsibility for obtaining those permits or approvals will be addressed in the applicable service agreement or proposal.
Work will be performed subject to applicable building codes, licensing requirements, and governmental regulations.
TheHoneyDoMan may perform services using employees, independent service providers, specialty contractors, or subcontractors as permitted by applicable law.
TheHoneyDoMan may determine the appropriate personnel or subcontractors necessary to complete the requested work unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Unless otherwise agreed, TheHoneyDoMan may select commercially reasonable materials suitable for the work.
Colors, textures, finishes, replacement parts, and materials may vary from existing materials because of age, availability, manufacturing changes, fading, or discontinued products.
Manufacturer warranties on materials or equipment remain subject to the manufacturer’s own terms and conditions.
Home repair and maintenance work can reveal conditions that were not visible before work began.
TheHoneyDoMan is not responsible for concealed or previously existing conditions including, but not limited to:
If concealed conditions are discovered, work may be stopped until the customer approves any necessary additional work or appropriate specialists are consulted.
Any specific workmanship warranty provided by TheHoneyDoMan will be stated in the applicable service agreement, proposal, invoice, or warranty documentation.
Manufacturer warranties are provided by the applicable manufacturer and not by TheHoneyDoMan.
Except for warranties expressly provided in writing and warranties that cannot legally be excluded, no additional warranties are created by information appearing on this website.
